Expensive yet lackluster hotel

Everything cost extra money at this hotel, including parking in the parking deck you have to park in. If you want even just coffee for breakfast, you have to either pay for a specialty coffee to be made like you’re at Starbucks or pay $15 per person for the self-serve breakfast. The hot tub was not even warm for our entire stay. The pool was warmer than the hot tub. They do have a bar by the pool, but drinks are crazy expensive. I purchased four or five drink drinks and spend $100. Then the morning of checkout they called me at 9:30 AM to tell me I have to move my vehicle from the floor it’s on, in the parking deck because they’re doing cleaning. There was nowhere else to park but the parking deck and they charge you to park there and they interrupted my vacation to make me move my vehicle. Considering that I paid $300 to stay one night and I paid if memory serves me correctly $16 to park in the parking deck that I had to park in I don’t feel like this is acceptable.

The hotel was dirty and most importantly, their elevator didn’t work!! Super inconvenient with family of 6 and trying to haul beach supplies, bags, and drinks down 4 or 5 flights of stairs. Then to go back up after a long day! Ridiculous! I’ll never be back here.

Escape to the beach!

Short 2 night stay at the beach. Overall everything was nice. Rooms need better lighting for reading at night. All workers were nice and property is well kept.

Beautiful hotel

This was probably one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in a long time for the value. I was pleasantly surprised of how nice the amenities were the view from the lobby. The hotel rooms were super clean and comfortable perfect for our stay. I loved having Beech access.

Not very impressed

Check in personnel was a bit rude, but the rest of the staff was very nice. The room was nice, but had a broken outlet/USB ports in the nightstand between the two beds, so phones had to be charged across the room Housekeeping did not come until 5:30 PM while we were showering and stated that they could not come back to clean the room. We asked for towels while they were at the door. They stated they would bring them back, but never did.

The pictures listed online of the hotel are a bit misleading, especially of the pool area. I expected the pool area to be larger, with more seating. Some of the chairs seemed like they needed repair or to just be replaced. The pool water also looked a tad cloudy so we did not go in. The entire experience was okay but I probably would not book here again.

We stay a lot at Orange Beach and in different places the layout of this hotel is just strange. The services are limited in hours. I had to go from the pool on the ground floor up to the fifth floor to my room to make a cup of coffee to have at the pool no sense but the TV room with the Nintendo and the bunkbeds for the kids is great dining room table for them to eat at little refrigerator microwave Keurig in the room. All those things are fantastic. The beach was great. The pool was OK all in all we’d stay there again if the price is right love the room. All the other amenities were just fair.
