Our bathroom had black around the tub. Dogs were in the room next door and barked on and off day and night. Very disturbing. Breakfast very limited and during breakfast the morning clearly came and got in the way so we could not get to the waffle maker. Outside of our room the sidewalk and driveway always had dirty looking water from the laundry and they made use pay $10.00 a day parking which was a ripoff. Pets should have to be on the backside of the hotel away from paying customers that do not have pets. I think we were totally overcharged for the room and parking we were charged and the service and enjoyment we received.

The room was nice and met our needs. I didn't know there was a parking fee but, considering the # of tourists I can understand it. Also, we had to leave early due to a health issue so, I'm hoping the lady at the front desk follows through on refunding 2 nights of parking I paid for but ended up not using!

Basic budget hotel

The hotel is basic budget hotel. Recently renovated but the workmanship was shoddy...i.e. paint drips on the floor, single coat not hiding the color underneath, peeling walls, etc. The hot breakfast consisted of waffle or oatmeal. Single ply toilet paper and tissue. The bed was comfortable and staff friendly.

I like the whole experience, however when showering my water would go cold, the hot… it’s as if someone flushed and my water would go cold, I would have to step out of the water because it would get too cold to stand under the water. Ms Lynn was awesome, thank you Lynn for all your help.

We stayed 3 nights and it was Amazing. The hotel front desk peeps were extremely friendly. The rooms were updated and clean. I loved that it was in walking distance to everything (downtown Helen, shopping, dining, site seeing). We will definitely be coming back.
