Air conditioning was wonky and didnt circulate around the room. Place smelt like old lady perfume really strongly in the lobby areas. Mini fridge wasn’t cold.

We were awakened twice in the night by false alarms and it went off another time in the evening. Front desk not anxious to please and needed prodding to perform. Housekeeping only ok. Had problems getting a working coffee maker. Balcony door had a slatted slider for privacy but from the street at the same angle as the slats one could see right in and we were totally exposed. Bell staff was fabulous.

When we got there we were checked in immediately which was nice. They had two options which i wasn't aware of from hotel.com (OCEAN FRONT and OCEAN VIEW) We got the ocean view which the check in lady told us and put us right into a room where you only see the ocean if you walk out to the balcony LOL. A day in we started to get respiratory issues, if you're at all allergic to dander you may want to consider other places because they do not clean the vents and the vent in the bathroom runs 24/7. The staff was overall nice however when i complained about my room the lady downstairs (crystal? ) said we could switch but was going to cost us $$$. - I called hotels.com about it and they somehow managed to get the manager to the hotel to give us a call to fix the issue free of charge. We decided to just stay in the room and air it out which helped a lot. The hotel room itself was ok. The biggest complaint i would say is the pillows suck and you will wake up with neck problems and my husband who is 6' complained at how low the toilets were. The area was perfect and you're right in the middle of everything. Everything around you though is about $20-$30 a meal so be prepared to pay.

This is my second time at this hotel. It has been a good stay each time. I was in the West building this time. There was the sound of an engine running for most of the night I found annoying and it is time to update the dresser that was in disrepair. The room is clean, great bed and beautiful view from the balcony

Bathroom shower broken, when they came to fix it they left it dirty and it was never fixed. ONLY the valet attendants attempted to be helpful, NO ONE ELSE. Ask for coffee 3 times, never came. Blow dryer did not work, asked twice for one that did and did finally get one. Average at best. Would make a different choice next time.
