Se on jännittävä aika tulla saarelle. Kansallispuisto on jälleen auki ja meillä on uusia mustan hiekkarantoja rannikon varrella!
Kaloli-piste sijaitsee itärannikolla Hilosta etelään yhdessä monista täällä olevista mikroilmastoista. Olemme ”aurinkoinen” alue itäpuolella. Siunattu (viileä kaupan tuulet ja auringonpaiste.
Mikä erottaa meidät muusta? Olen Big Islandin paikallinen asukas. Asun vain kadulla. Aion olla täällä hoitamassa mitä tarvitset.
Kotimme on täydellinen paikka rentoutua nähtävyyksien jälkeen. Kaunis 3 makuuhuoneen 2 kylpyhuoneen kodissamme on kaikki tarvitsemasi asia kotisi poissa kotoa. Graniittipöydät ja teak-kaapit sekä avoin ulkoasu tekevät siitä vetäytymisen levätä pitkän päivän nähtävyyksien jälkeen. Takapihaa ympäröi Ohia-metsä, joka luo rauhallisuuden ja yksityisyyden paikan samalla kun jäähdytetään maanpinnan uima-altaassa. Illalla sytytä tulipalo ulkotiloissa ja nauti paahtamalla vaahtokarkkeja katsellen tähtiä.
Koti sijaitsee vain 2 korttelin päässä merestä, jossa voit kävellä kallioita ja polkuja pitkin. Talvella valaiden katselu kallioilla on suosittu paikallinen menneisyys.
Läheisissä historiallisissa kaupungeissa Kea`aussa ja Pahoassa on molemmat ravintoloita, ruokakauppoja ja viljelijöiden markkinoita.
Kodin avoin ulkoasu ja muotoilu tekevät siitä pääsyn pyörätuolin vieraille. ”
. Master-sviitti avautuu uima-altaan ympäröivään lanai-alueelle. Siinä on oma kylpyhuone ja suihku. Kingsize-sängyssä on Vera Wang -muistomuovipatja. Haluat levätä sängyssä koko päivän. Kahdessa ylimääräisessä makuuhuoneessa on kylpyamme, toisessa makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja toisessa täysikokoinen sänky. Paljon tilaa jaettavaksi ystävien ja perheen kanssa. Tämä on tupakoimaton koti.
Vain 15-20 minuutin päässä Kalapana Lavan katselualueelta.
Koti on täydellinen romanttisiin lomiin, perhelomiin.
Tätä kotia EI pidä vuokrata juhliin, suuriin tapaamisiin, perhejuhlia jne. Kodissa saa olla korkeintaan 6 henkilöä, mukaan lukien lapset, ellei toisin ole sovittu kanssani.

Amazing stay

Property was exactly as described and quite wonderful. Secluded with a rain forest feel and so peaceful. The pool was perfect and each day the kids were swimming right after breakfast before we headed out to see the sights. House had lots of room and we never felt crowded. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Hilo area.

Absolutely Perfect!

If I could give a hundred stars I would! We had an amazing stay and a big part of it was the house and beautiful pool. It has everything that you would want in a vacation rental and is completely private. It's absolutely beautiful. Also, it is located on a very quiet road with beautiful cliffs within a short bike ride. Bikes included! The host was so nice, responsive and helpful.

lovely home to spread out with teens

It was great to take our city kids to a lovely home that feels nestled in a rainforest. Loved the pool, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Easy walking distance to a glorious sunrise spot on the cliffs. Very nice, would highly recommend this home for a stay.

Fantastic Home

This is one of the best rentals i have stayed in. The home was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was wonderful. It was a great central location for us to explore the east side of the island. I would absolutely stay here again!

Spacious home

Our stay was good, overall. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped to make family meals. The pool was perfect in every way. When we arrived, there was hair on the bottom of the fridge and a spill of something red and pungent (chili dauce?) in one of the drawers. There was also a lot of debris in the back of the fridge. Also found a warm, but sealed Tillamok cheese stick on the floor. There was also a lots of dust on the knife block, so I wasn't too confident that it was well cleaned. I ended up cleaning the fridge, but the smell was persistent. There were plenty of fans to keep us comfortable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Things we did not like: the towels were so old/worn it felt like sandpaper on your skin. They definitely need to be replaced. The cleanliness was questionable-- we washed everything before we used it. And, the family room couch was so well used it was uncomfortable, so my family sat outside or in our rooms. Would we stay there again? Probably not for our family because it was far from activities, but it would be the perfect place for a quiet getaway for couples or families to relax. The property was gorgeous and my son loved the hiking trail close by.

A true 5-star accommodation

This property was perfect for our family! The house was clean, organized and well laid-out for us to enjoy full days at home or come back from a day of adventures and have all the equipment needed to make dinner and enjoy a restful evening by the pool, tv or with a board game. It was an absolute pleasure working with Maureen. Communication was clear, timely and just enough to make sure we had what we needed and know where to go if we didn't. The check-in/out and property instructions were easy to follow and not burdensome. If you're considering a vacation on the Hilo side of the Big Island and you're a couple or family that wants to be close to the shore with many outdoor adventures, in a home with a pool that's well laid out and properly appointed - this is the one for you. If your dates are available - snap them up, cause they'll go quick. We'll be back :0)

Paradise Park Gem

My wife and I and her two adult daughters stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is just beautiful and well cared for as though the owners lived there. The house was large and more than enough for the four of us and the pool was really nice. It has everything we needed and more. It is secluded with privacy and in a great neighborhood. Less than half a mile north is the trailhead for Puna trail, in the top five for best hiking trails on the big island. It ends at Hae’na beach, a nice sandy beach where we saw 17 turtles sunning. A mile north on Beach road is a bluff where you can watch the sunrise. Kaleo’s is a great restaurant and bar 5.5 miles away. The owner had very clear instructions and communicated promptly. I highly recommend this house for a great vacation in the Hilo area and would stay here again. Five stars, thank you.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few minor items when we checked in, but the host was able to get them resolved quickly. The location is great if you're spending time on the Hilo side of the island. The house comes stocked with pretty much everything you need for your stay. The kids loved the pool after some long days exploring. Would definitely look up this place again if we decided to stay on this side of the island again.

Affordable luxury is the right name for this beautiful property

First of all, the almost immediate responses from the owner, Maureen, were impressive. The few times we needed to communicate over 10 days, she responded very quickly when not immediately. Second, the photos do not do justice to the home and, most of all, the pool. That pool made out granddaughter’s vacation: clean, warm, bigger that you would think. The outside shower was a treat. For the few people who felt this was too far or isolated from Hilo, maybe you should look up a property on Apple Maps or Google Maps; it could not be any clearer. It was less than 30 minutes from downtown Hilo, and we loved the peace and quiet. This STR has changed how our family will select a place in the future. If we return to the Big Island, we will adjust dates just to rent this place again.

Beautiful property!

Beautiful lush tropical yard, gorgeous clean pool, comfy master bed, and lounge chairs that are genuinely comfortable! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and immediately felt at home there. We spent the majority of 3 days hanging out in the back yard! I absolutely would have taken the backyard home with me if I could have!

Beautiful quiet place

We loved our stay in this house, in a quiet neighborhood. There is a beach overlook (no water access) 0.7 miles down the road. The pool was clean and fairly warm. The layout of the house was great, lots of space, large kitchen, laundry room, 2 car garage, water toys… Groceries r a 10min drive, Hilo is 20 min away. We hope to come back again.
