Very nice staff and laundry facility to wash our clothes! Really good Italian restaurant connected to this hotel! Many eateries all around and lots of bars too! Kid friendly and adult friendly! So many shops to shop in! The room is spotless! I love the shampoo and body wash products! Their face wash is amazing and face cream! Love the tea living room in the lobby area too! Good selection on tea’s!

Rooms are small and super basic, but bed are comfortable and is a killer central location. The service is totally decent, and being able to walk out right into the heart of everything makes up for any lack of space. If you're all about location and a good night's sleep over fancy digs, this place is a winner.

Perfect location, in the heart of Kyoto. The stuff was very nice, great amanities and very clean and nice hotel room, though, the room was smaller than expected based on the pictures.

Great location but rooms are too small.

Friendly helpful staff and with a super comfy bed. The location is also perfect. As described by many though, the rooms are very very small. There’s no room to open out a suitcase even. That sense of a cramped space isn’t helped by black walls and doors in all the corridors. If you are any way claustrophobic I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Elegant, clean, and convenient. This hotel is hidden away in the heart of urban Kyoto and is convenient for getting anywhere in the city. Would definitely stay here again!

I found the hotel expensive for what it was: very small room and they never did the cleaning. They only left us clean towels at the door. The hotel is very well located.

The property is very well located and you’re all shopping. The rooms are quite nice and quite large considering it’s Japan. The common areas are very nice. The staff was great. I recommend that you do not include the breakfast as the breakfast is not good compared to other hotels that we stay at. If there was one limiting factor, I would say it’s the breakfast. Good news is there’s plenty of places to eat right outside the door.

This is a wonderful boutique-style hotel. Really appreciate the small steps to be more environmentally friendly. Very professional staff and well-kept facilities. The hotel is located within a 10 min walk from many shopping and tour destinations. We also loved the smell of the hotel so much, we bought the fragrance!
