My husband and I have been together for 12 years, married for 2. We have 5 kids, 2 son in laws, 4 grandkids and one almost son in law between us (14 people total) and this was the first combined families vacation weâve taken and this home could not have been more perfect. The two families with kids had room in their rooms for the extra space needed for kids, the remaining 4 rooms were perfectly sized for the two single kids and one other couple and my husband and myself. The master bedroom was AMAZING. We had the only bathtub but it was big enough for the 3 kids (14 mos, 3.5 & 4.5 years old) to take a bath together. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away that shares a parking lot with Tube Tahoe snow tubing where we spent two GREAT afternoons. Downtown South Lake Tahoe (and casinos) is no more than 15 minutes away. This home had a big kitchen with pretty much everything youâd need in a kitchen and the living room, dining room and space inbetween had plenty of space for adults to watch tv while others played games and the kids did their own thing. Weâve already discussed coming back for some time in the summer at this home. Hosts responded whenever we emailed (we couldnât find the highchair at first) and we had no problems getting in. The 3 car garage held 3 SUVâs with room to open doors. Warning - the driveway s VERY slippery if you have more than 3 vehicles. Only downside to this home was that it can be loud if you are in a downstairs bedroom. Bring slippers.
