I got a block of 9 rooms for us and my wife's family from Leyte. The staff did an amazing job of helping coordinate everything and make sure everyone was taken care of. I can't thank them enough.

The Hotel is is nicely kept and gym is fantastic. Swimming area very small and shallow. The spa service is exceptional with terrific staff. Big Big Problem some lobby and restaurant staff. They speak derogatory about guests not realizing or not caring that the guests understood there language. Absolutely horrible behavior!!! Even with the property conditions being lovely. With there behavior I would never stay again.

The hotel promotes a beach club that was destroyed by a typhoon, I asked the property for a refund of the nights we did not stay and Expedia said they did not honor what they promised us. I will complain to the global sales office of the Movenpick in Switzerland.

The Movenpick Cebu offers a wonderful experience in many ways. The staff were absolutely fantastic – friendly, helpful, and truly engaging with our two young children. They were always willing to assist and find solutions to any problems. Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming, and the hotel boasts a great range of amenities. However, we did encounter a significant issue with noise from the evening events around the main pool. Our 4th-floor room overlooked the pool area, and the entertainment from 7pm to 9pm was extremely loud. This was disruptive for our young family. While not every night, it was frequent enough to be a concern. The other thing to note is the onsite tour operator, for us we felt the tour didn't deliver for the money paid and we weren't given enough information about the tour itself. If you're traveling with young children, we recommend requesting a room further away from the pool to ensure a more peaceful stay.

Good location with private beach and 5 minute taxi to town. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet was amazing. We got the halfboard and it was a good deal and plenty of good meal options. We will stay again if we return.

Great hotel with amazing staff

We really enjoyed our 7 day stay here. We reserved a half board stay. It was nice until day 3, as the menu was the same every day. Thankfully, they let us order off the regular menu against our half board. Lovely staff, trained like cruise ship crew: always friendly, always helpful!
