Hotels.com should do some vetting before falsely advertising hotels as two-star hotels and using dated photographs that do not accurately depict the hotel. La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Las Cruces Mesilla Valley is a run-down, dirty, and dangerous hotel. Not only will I never stay at La Quinta again, but I will never use your service to book a hotel.

This was the worst hotel that have ever stayed at. The whole place was extreamly dirty and smelly. The staff was rude even. This hotel is so bad that it should be shutdown. No one should stay here.

It was just okay..the Wifi was not working..no coffee in the room..but had a coffee maker. The toilet was not good..there was no ice..told to go across the street to circle k to get some..no breakfast..said there was going to be..And no sundries.. No extra toilet paper..just less than half a roll.. No kleenex..and the swimming pool was empty..my first time so disappointed...

Very comfy beds! Liked meeting others guests and their dogs! The towels were stained and could’ve been cleaner, and the tub had some mildew, but overall was ok. :-)

The hotel is in disrepair, and is dirty. Vagrants loitering around lobby andnparking area. Pool is surrounded by dirt, not sure if there was any water in it. Staff is disgruntled.

The Wi-Fi was not working, the ice machine was not working, the place is just old and dirty….im pretty sure there was a drug dealer staying on our floor, the property is in disrepair and the breakfast was a joke.

Extremely Unsanitary and Unsafe Stay. Do Not Recommend I recently booked a stay at this property and had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I was given a room that had no bedding, no sheets, and no towels, just bare mattresses. When I informed staff of the issue, I was moved to another room, but unfortunately, the second room was just as unacceptable. The bedding was filthy, the towels were soiled, and the entire room felt unclean and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, the back door in the second room was broken and did not have a functioning lock. This created a serious safety hazard, and I felt completely unsafe staying there. It is unacceptable for any hotel to provide a room that is both unsanitary and insecure. After seeing the conditions of both rooms, I made the decision to leave the property immediately. This was the second attempt at finding a suitable room, and both failed to meet even the most basic standards of hygiene and safety. I requested a refund since I did not stay, as the conditions were entirely uninhabitable. For the price being charged, guests deserve a clean, secure, and professionally maintained space, none of which was provided here. I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. There are many hotels that actually care about cleanliness, guest safety, and overall comfort. This property clearly does not meet that standard. Manager also Refused to give refund for $200.

Do not stay here. There are stains on ALL bed sheets and pillows, the windows are all cracked. The pool is drained, the carpet is stained, and there is no free breakfast. FALSE ADVERTISING THIS PLACE SUCKSSSSS. Save yourself the trouble.
