This is an older hotel but very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable and everything was in working condition. It is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping with an Arby’s & Starbucks right next to it. For a very busy area it was quiet at night. All the rooms have an outside doors and you must use stairs to get to the second floor. Overall a clean basic room economically priced with a big refrigerator & microwave.

We were only here for a short time, but we would definitely come back and stay again. We were greeted by the sweetest lady at the front desk and a very nice gentleman who helped get us checked in. The room was very clean and close to many options for eating very close by. We came in to town for a concert and Rupp Arena and it was only a short drive there. Just a side note, the beds and pillows were comfortable, but if you are a picky pillow person, I’d bring an extra. I like a fat fluffy one.

Beds were comfortable. Very quiet facility. We were given first floor as requested. Carpet was soaking wet, and filthy. When I went to the front desk to request a new room, guy at the desk said, "that's not happening.". I asked if we could at least have some rugs. "Nope." He dismissed me. He later came down and said, 'yep, it's wet." We were offered an upstairs room. My husband is 84 and I am 72. Stairs are hard for both of us, especially if we have to carry a lot of items. We stayed put. While we were out the next day, I guess they checked the water and found that perhaps it was coming from the refrigerator next door. Not sure. They wrapped a bathmat around the corner of the nightstand. That evening we had a problem with the toilet. We called the office, and they brought down a plunger. Handed it to my husband. Staff did not make an effort to plunge the toilet. The problem lasted throughout the night. We think that's wrong. We are paying to stay there, and if there is a problem, they need to make an effort to remedy it. Like I said, the beds were very comfortable. We heard no noise on top of or on either side, or in back of us, and even from the parking which is unheard of. If not for the water issues......
