We had a mixed experience overall. The room itself was fine, but several issues made the stay less comfortable than expected—especially traveling with young children. Our toilet would not flush properly and kept running, which was frustrating. More significantly, there was excessive noise from the room above us late into the night starting about 9:30pm. While some noise is expected in a multi-story hotel, this went well beyond that, with constant heavy footsteps and furniture movement until around 2:30 a.m., including a vacuum being used. I contacted the front desk around 10:00 p.m., but the noise continued and started again around 5:00 a.m., making it difficult to get rest. We were traveling with three children (ages 5, 3, and 6 months), so this was especially challenging. The pool policy was also very strict—being told that no drinks were allowed or there would be an automatic $50 fine felt impractical for families, particularly when children need water readily available to prevent overheating. Front desk service was polite but felt somewhat limited in terms of follow-through when concerns were raised. Not a terrible stay, but not one we’d rush to repeat. With better noise enforcement, maintenance attention, and a bit more flexibility for families, this could be a much better experience.

Hotel felt a little outdated and run down, however the staff was friendly and tentative to our requests. Our room was clean, although the room needed work. The bathroom tension rode was hanging down and we feared it may fall. Clearly needed to be fixed and something housekeeping and maintenance should have fixed prior to renting. Pool was heavily packed with chlorine and felt small with addition of the other guests. Gym was nice size and equipment was nice. Breakfast was the typical. Lobby door was broken and so the lobby felt cold and that added to the run down feel of the building. We did not utilize but they do have a lot of snacks you can purchase and other necessities. Cheep place to take the kids but would consider other hotels prior to re booking for (beach/larger pool). Staff allowed for a late check out and so that eased our morning. Both men at front desk, check in/out were helpful/kind and my husband appreciated that.

The room was great, staff was great but the people above us had a zoo of kids and they ran and screamed the whole time.. We could barely sleep they were so loud. Then at 730 am they woke us up. I have 3 kids very close in age and I would never allow them to do that.

you can not see the ocean from the hotel. it's on the other side of the street. don't book room 127 next to ice machine and hotel laundry room (too noisy ) not a good thing when you travel with young children, the pool water was murky, you don't see the floor, the blue paint at the pool room was coming off and stick to your bare feet. the room was unclean. dirty cup left in refrig. coffee pot maker (water from the prior occupant) was left behind and was cloudy. the waffle maker was good. the lady working there was kind. but i think she was working every position. maybe limited staffing? was part of the issue.
