Enjoyed our 3 day stay at this elegant hotel. We had a junior suite which I felt was on the small side. Even the bathroom had only a single sink and no tub (which my wife would have liked). Cupboard and drawers were somewhat limited. The bed was comfortable and bed linens were very nice. Breakfast buffet was nice and pretty much typical of hotel fare. All in all we were very pleased with our choice of hotel. Location was very convenient for shopping and walk about touring. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was fine but quite dated. Some of the staff was helpful but others less so - we were told by the concierge the evening before departure there would be no problem getting a large taxi, but when we actually tried to get one we were then told there were none available. There is no on-site restaurant other than for breakfast. The location is good.

Fantastic staff and concierge. Not only helped with restaurants and sights, but also forwarded forgotton medication to our next stop in portugal. Anove and beyond service. Also the bar is a great quiet option for evening drinks. A bit of a hidden treasure.

There is not a thing I did not like about the Avenida Palace. The staff here are super friendly and helpful especially the concierge. Outstanding complimentary breakfast! The hotel is in an ideal location for quick walks to local eateries, sites and shops.
