I highly recommend Pestana Palace for its amazing staff, incredible breakfast, indoor and outdoor pools, beautiful grounds, quiet location and delicious room service. This is one of my top three hotels in the world! Perfect for families and adults. If you are concerned about the location, don't be. It's perfectly relaxing and a cheap Uber ride anywhere. Thank you for an amazing nine days in Portugal!

The property is literally a castle, the photos do not do it justice. If the photos make out the property as 10/10 in real life it’s more like 20/10. Amazing experience with amazing staff who go above and beyond to help you out. Definitely worth visiting.

The property was excellent but the rooms are very dark and no extra lights or lamps to be provided to the customers. We asked so many times if we can have extra light but no one responded or reach out.

Pestana Palace oh how I love thee. Amazing people. I made friends with a lot of staff who catered me with warm smile. Coming back after a days out is like coming home. The place is luxurious but not stuffy. After I visited seven upscale hotel in Lisbon, I could definitely say- Pestana Palace is the grandest. This is not a five star property, the photos on the site mainly show the old main building which if you stay in a large suite then it’s ok but the majority stay in the annex buildings which are out of date in bad repair and are noisy beyond compare. So we stayed ten days the pool was never heated the menu was restricted because the main kitchen/chef was being maintained For 10 days!!!!!! Overall this property is good to visit for a photo and then leave it and stay in the center of Lisbon.
