The rooms were very clean and the hotel itself is very beautiful. I felt very safe as a solo traveler the staff was very attentive and friendly. The only thing I had an issue with is if you’re coming in through the back way, the security is very rude and instead of just asking if you were staying at the hotel, they kind of berate you. That is one thing I feel like the Hotel needs to get better at training their staff to question people better. There shouldn’t be an interrogation just for me to get back to my room. Especially if I’m showing my hotel key. The service is very very slow but the food is good. There is a bit of a language barrier, but everyone was very nice and patient.

The hotel was well situated and the lobby and mezzanine floors were modern with ample shopping and dining amenities. Great customer service by concierge - delicious dinner recommendations. The room had a very comfortable bed, super soft down pillows and a beautiful view of downtown Lome. The pool and outdoor dining was excellent but there were not enough cabanas and no umbrellas available to shield guests from the intense heat. But, my big criticism was the spa (that’s why they are getting a lower rating). My massage was rough and characterized by hyper extensions, knuckle popping and jerky head pulling. But my son’s experience was worst - he got large red burns on his leg from his stone massage and instead of comp-ing the massage, the hotel manager only offered an additional spa service early in the morning before we left. Avoid the massage spa services but the rest of the experience was great

Very nice room, friendly and professional staff. I didn't like, that the shuttle bus left because immigration took about half an hour. I contacted the hotel by phone without success and by email without reply. So I ended up having to take a taxi which I wanted to avoid. I liked the massage in the Spa, which was one of the best I had lately.

Hotel 2 Fevrier is a world class hotel with a wonderful pool, restaurants, breakfast, and large room size. It's a place totally apart and away from the city itself -- you could be in NYC or Istanbul while you're here. Sometimes, to get work done, that's helpful, as it was for us.
