the room was clean and comfortable with a huge bed, big pillows and a beautiful ocean view. Ruben checked me in and was very welcoming - gave me lots of info about the hotel amenities. Got a drink and ate at the bar in the evening during happy hour. very affordable and delicious. I will be back.

I stayed there for four nights and the next week I had a medical emergency and tried to cancel my new one-night reservation, and both the hotel and Hotels.com wouldn't cancel my reservation, or just charge me a 10% cancellation fee. I was charged the full amount and hotel "resort" fees. I am very disappointed with the Allegria hotel and Hotels.com.

There is no housekeeping service unless you specifically request that you want it. Unfortunately, they keep that a big secret and no one seems to know about it until your towels are dirty, your garbage is overflowing, and no one has been in to tidy up your room. One of the 2 elevators was out of service on both of the days we were there, and the coffee maker in the lobby was also out of service. The "resort fee" is a joke. Aside from that it was OK.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our one night stay, we were so close to booking an extra night due to how nice it was. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious. We definitely will be back!
