Bed bugs, avoid like the plague.

This hotel had bed bugs. I literally had to run away at 2:30 in the morning (after a long flight from Europe) and find another hotel. There was no-one to speak to, they don't seem to have any staff just getting their long term residents to run the place. But at any rate it was 2:30 in the morning (which is actually 10.30 am back home) I needed to sleep and wasn't going to get into an argument or risk being moved to another room which would almost certainly have the same issue. They're now refusing to refund the stay, saying it's 'non-refundable' yeah except non-refundable typically means you can't cancel your stay because you feel like it, not no refunds once you find out our property's a health hazard. Utterly disgusting, why hotels.com hosts places like this I will never understand. And btw hotels.com have also refused to refund me, and are trying not to publish this review. So I guess they like sending customers to bed bugs infested hotels.

This is the second time that i had stayed here. The first one was very pleasant and did not have any problem thats why i booked again for my stay but this time is kinda disappointing. I stayed in the same room and my first time was better than my stay now and noticed that the beddings had not been changed and was obviously not changed from the last person who had used that room as i had been bitten by a lot of bed bugs all over my hands and arms. Also, now they dont provide anymore towel or even blanket, they now charge it extra which i find it ridiculous. Posted at the main door is a sign that says call the number when you arrive which no one answers so pray that someone is inside when you arrive to open the door for you. The only plus is that the area is still safe as i have even walked around the area at night. The kitchen is neat, bathroom/restroom is clean.

Avoid this place! The male staff member is petty. He stole some of my food. He saw when I put food in the fridge and disrespected my personal property. He did things to make my stay uncomfortable. Include tell me I couldn’t rebook when I realized that other people were continuously rebooking during my stay

The African American clerk who received my husband and I appeared under the influence of a substance, his eyes half shut, his speech significantly slurred at 1:58pm on September 28, 2025. Additionally he presented with abrasive and combative words. As we were very tired from travels we retreated to the space we were assigned. At approximately 336pm. My husband stepped out for a cigarette and encountered the African American front desk clerk. The clerk addressed my husband in aggressive speech. He leveled statements about “Crips” and using his hands to signal what I can only suspect were gang hand language to signify what gang group he was affiliated with. When I sought to intervene, the African American man cursed me saying, “Shut up you stupid and get out of here.” Subsequently, he barred us from our stay at the LAX Guesthouse. The establishment has a no refund policy. A call to the San Marino Guesthouse and talk with a more Senior member of the same propert produced a more positive interaction, the senior member stating that she could approve a transfer to San Marino location, but only after I addressed the concern the the African American man or another women apparently also on staff, but whom I had not seen while I was on the premises. I was fearful the African American male would become more aggressive and I did not return. My husband and I spent the night on the street with no recourse regarding this injustice. I would like my money returned.

The staff sold my son's room. the people were rude and we never got a response from them and Hotels.com had to find my son other accomadations

I arrived after their check in time. Okay, that’s on me. So I was unable to check in. What wasn’t cool was that I came the next day to check in and basically the front desk worker told me I lost the whole reservation closed the door. Don’t be late to check in cause they don’t care.

Stay Away from this place!

I seldom, if ever leave negative reviews. Also, I have stayed in many types of budget accomodation, but this has got to be the worst. The night 'manager' was extremely rude and was watching loud movies on the phone in the middle of the night, so nobody in my room could sleep. I think I would have gotten a better sleep in a tent on skid row. Nobody wanted to say anything, because he appeared a little unhinged.

Before I could even step into the house this tall skinny African American guy stopped me and said , you can’t come here. I know you have booked and paid but you need to take that up with Expedia. I kept telling his , I want to talk with rhe manager and he said he works with management. I was there waiting for someone to help me or answer my calls and my texts along with multiple voice messages. This ruined SO many things for me! The money I spent going to LA for the reunion,! The money I spent on the food and desserts. The money I ended up paying for a car to come and get me. My appointment that evening which I had saved up for 7 Months. It was my schools reunion and this horrible guy ruined everything. I mean everything!! Photographer. People coming from out of town. Clothes I bought just for that night. The surprise of flowers and a dove to honor out principle. I mean everything!!!! Unbelievable. I am so traumatized I don’t know what to say!!? Save yourself the crazy bully nightmare of LAX Guest House and Winston rhe horrible bully!!!
