The staff was friendly. The room was quiet considering I was next to the elevator. They have a 9th floor terrace with great views. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Perfect location to see the city walking distance to everything you want to see and lots of places to eat very close. Friendly staff and queries dealt with very promptly. Staff were very helpful. Very clean hotel with all the amenities you need. Very good rooftop bar

Well situated, excellent reception and concierge service, clean and well decorated public areas, rooms spotless well decorated and well equiped ( electric shutters to block out the sun). Lounge area on 9th floor clean,weel decorated and quiet with excellent toilets. 9th floor bar quiet and excellent for a gin and tonic at sunset. Staff very friendly and helpful. 2 areas for improvement: a kettle in rooms for coffee on arrival and a less expensive continental style breakfast.

The property is located on the main street where there are lots of stores and restaurants. The hotel is older but the rooms were nice and clean. It also has a nice bar and terrace.

I enjoyed my stay and was appreciative of the attentive staff. It can’t be helped that the hotel is on such a busy street. There were loud moments during the weekend, but the double panes window helped. Good central location and loved how easy it was to get taxis.

A wonderful hotel to stay at in Madrid. Centrally located in a busy tourist spot that allows you quick access to all areas of Madrid by foot or transit. The rooms are lovely, clean & quiet! The rooms have a heat pump to keep you cool on hot nights! The rooftop bar is beautiful with a great view, a lovely place to end your night! I would stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Madrid!

Lovely small palatial hotel right on Gran Via but quiet, with classic Roman and Greek busts and tapestries everywhere. Charming grand staircase next to elevator. Very good breakfast in lovely dining room. Very accommodating check in:I arrived at 11:35 and they gave me a room 3 hours early! Wonderful as I am 74 and very tired from flight from NYC! Rooms beautifully appointed with two hair dryers, one on wall in br and one on vanity table. Highlighting 9 th floor rooftop garden, exclusive use with drinks and snacks available, gorgeous views of Via and sunset and statuary in garden. A hidden gem. If raining there are palatial lounge rooms off garden rooftop. So nice for private meetings. Affordable.

The room was very spacious and clean. The only problem was that our room didn’t have any windows. Very dark and depressing staying inside the room. Location was great. Walking distance to many attractions, and shops.
