The hotel staff was so nice. We arrived quite early from the airport and with my 90 y.o. mother, planning to just leave the luggage and kill some time before check in. But, the hotel staff was so nice they insisted my mother go and relax in the room. Everything was perfect during our stay.

Pros: The hotel is very central and close to everything. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s just a few blocks from Gran Vía. The room was standard but always clean; it did get a bit warm at times since the heating is centrally controlled, but you can request extra sheets if you don’t want anything too warm. Cons: You can’t hear any noise from outside, but the walls between the rooms are very thin, so you can hear the guests next door.

Great room with great view of the square. Room was big with lots of space. Short walk to Gran Via. Close to restaurants, shopping and sites to see. Would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.

The property is very well located v If you want to be in the center and walking distance tto everything. And indeed, it's location is it's best feature. But given the Brand, and the 250€ ++ price point,, one would expect more.....much more. My honeymoon with the property ended the first time I opened the door to my room. The musty smell of well used carpet was overpowering and I ended up leaving the window open most of the evening to compensate. It smelled very similar to the carpet in a well used roadside motel. I ordered extra towels to create a sanitary path from the bathroom to the bed . Highly recommended. I was very thrilled to fined super good sound insulation from the outside street/bar noise. When the double windows are closed, one gets only a whisper from the outside. Unfortunately there is little to no soundproofing between the rooms The noise between the rooms icomes thru in 100% high fidelity. Every toilet flush, every personal act and indeed every person conversation is heard without effort. Ny neighbor's snoring sounded as if he/she was sleeping next to me . While the location is very good , but there are far better voptions in Madrid.
