The property was very difficul to find during darkness hours. The aroma around the property was foul. The restaurant! offered light snacks only, not what we expected. Beds very confortable. Check in was OK. Desk staff friendly. Won't be going there again. Won't be visiting again.

Good Hotel but Very Difficult To Find

The hotel is very difficult to find even though we have stayed there before. There needs to be signage on the main road and on the service road. Parking is not easy and more spaces are required. The hotel itself is very good.

No air conditioning in entire property. Room was far too hot and the smell from around the hotel was disgusting so couldn’t open the window. Staff were helpful and nice but would never be back. Unfortunately, my worst experience with a travel lodge I’ve ever had.

We stayed at the Malaga Airport Travelodge on the evening of Wednesday 13 November 2024. This was a last minute booking - heavy rain and flooding meant we couldn’t travel to our hotel in central Malaga. So we booked a room at this Travelodge for one night. The hotel provided good value and facilities. The staff were excellent that day - friendly and helpful while facing a lot of challenges due to the floods and heavy rain. The hotel was full with many people booking last minute due to the travel issues. The staff provided good food for all the guests in the evening and provided excellent service on that day and the day after. They deserve much credit - a bonus or additional time off would be richly deserved!

Very poor hotel.

Pretty dirty hotel. Stains all over the walls and curtains. Not worth the price. It should be a budget hotel but the price point is too high for this.

Overall a clean place, very basic. Quick and courteous check in staff. Hard to find on Google and there is not sign up top that you could see from distance. There was a smell from the toilet that won’t go away with flushing. The door wouldn’t close completely either. The air conditioning or heating thermostat was not working and not fixed even after requesting to be fixed. The window soundproofing for an airport hotel was not sufficient.

Mediocre

The room was stuffy with no possibility of turning on a fan or air conditioning. Even though it’s close to the airport it’s a €20 taxi ride because of how out of the way it is. The staff was very nice.

I’d like to start by saying how wonderful the staff were. They were friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. They have me really useful advice about transport. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Good section for breakfast. Staff mentioned the bus that goes back to the airport very nearby - very helpful tip. However, I hadn’t realised this hotel was in the middle of an industrial looking estate. It cost 20 EUR to get a cab there. Calling it an airport hotel is misleading. It had an air of shabbiness and a depressing feel about it and the corridor on my floor smelled awful. I needed it for a few hours of sleep and breakfast. It functioned fine for that but there are better options out there. I won’t be returning.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Not sure if they are busy with renovations, but the carpets in our hallway were very dirty. We had everything you needed for just a overnight stay, but if the only mirror is in the bathroom, it makes getting ready if you are limited on time difficult. OK, but not good value for money. Breakfast was good.
