Lovely Hilton Hotel in downtown Melbourne.

The Melby is a lovely hotel, with very helpful, warm and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. Bed linens were very comfortable. The only minor flaw was the awkward placement of the pump for hand soap which was located on the wall quite far from the sink. In addition, the bathroom mirror is quite far back from the edge of the sink, which juts out quite a bit. A makeup mirror would be a good solution. We would definitely return to the Hotel Melby.

We could not sleep as a train passed by every hour of the night. Even though we were on the 8th floor, the bars and train noise from near by did not let us sleep. Additionally, we booked this hotel for the convenience of having a restaurant and bar. When we went to have dinner, we were notified that they were fully booked and unable to accommodate us. If you advertise a restaurant and bar, you should be able to accommodate your guests

Downtown Melbourne boutique hotel

Modern hotel in the heart of downtown Melbourne. Amazing restaurant on the rooftop and great coffee shop in lobby. Parking situation was only downside as they don’t have a ln area to unload/park. Valet or park across in a lot are the only options.
