Loved this property! It was dog friendly and wrote our pups name on the welcome board. There is not much to do nearby but we stayed here because it was an hour or so away from Yosemite. The fish filtered water on each floor (on tap) was our favorite amenity.

Everything was excellent especially my dinner at the Rainbird. Service was of the highest quality, the lobby for check-in was pleasantly fragranced, and the room was spic/span clean!!! If I ever visit the City of Merced again, I will stay @ El Capitan. I will tell all my family and friends.
