A wonderful refuge in a big city

.Very well located and on a quiet street. 10 minslow walk to the Duomo and another 5 to the Galleria where you can quickly bankrupt yourself with the best high quality stores. The hotel staff and service was great and the decore excellent. If you can, book a terrace room.

The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. I liked that the hotel offered different variety of drinks which was complimentary and also a complimentary glass of wine. The breakfast spread was nice and the room to eat was very elegant.

We loved staying at the Hotel Gran Duca Di York. The staff was very friendly and considerate. We arrived late moring and were offered bag storage. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the evening welcome cocktail was a great touch. We were able to walk everywhere in city centre and used available umbrellas when it rained. Our room was large and bathroom had the best lighting I've ever had in a hotel or Airbnb.We would definitely stay there again!

This hotel was awesome! Staff is very professional and friendly and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The included breakfast was a perfect start to the day and the free Prosecco in the evening was a nice treat before dinner. Location is excellent with lots of dining and shopping spots nearby and The Duomo and the Galleria are just a few minutes walk. Would recommend this property to anyone staying in central Milan.

Best Hotel

One the best hotel ever stayed at From the greeting to goodbye staff were always doing their best to make the dtay the best. They do complimentary drink on first night which provides interaction with other guests. We had a great Aussie get together. Breakfast was sensational particularly the massive bottle of Nutella. Worth staying at this hotel just to see it There was complimentary water fruit and food available all day. The location was brilliant just around from the Dumo and easy walking distance to most points of interest.

Very clean, staff excellent, fruit, water and mini muffins to take, all water and soft drinks in fridge free and replaced, a free prosecco every night, great breakfasts. The only issue was the thin walls. Could hear guests in the next bathroom

Great Location!

Older property, but the hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to the Duomo, many restaurants and shopping areas.

Hotel was terrific as were most staff, but unsatisfactory response to complaint about plumbing in our room (#108) as staff member who inspected adamant that the problem was non-existent. In fact , inadequate cold water flow impacting ability to regulate shower temperature.

The staff was really fantastic! Very helpful at finding my way around. The hotel is walking distance to the Duomo and Galleria Victor Emmanuel. They can get you a cab within just a few moments and will hold your baggage if you take a tour then head home afterwards. The breakfast was great. There are a lot of selections and the staff speaks multiple languages.

Excellent staff & location, loved the fact that the minibar was free of charge and the breakfast was rich with lots of options and was between 730 and 1030am (hrs were not restricted like in many other hotels). And in the afternoon guests could enjoy an aperitivo (prosecco)! We would love to go back again!
