I recently stayed at this resort, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment I checked in, it was nothing but issues. The card reader on the door was broken, and it took over an hour for someone to finally fix it. Not exactly the welcome you expect when you first arrive. To make matters worse, the room had no towels or wash rags. I waited for hours, only to end up having to go to the main lobby myself to get them. The staff didn’t just lack urgency they had attitudes like they absolutely hated being there. No one gave me towel cards at check-in, and I didn’t even know I needed them until I tried to get towels for the pool. Again, more attitude and confusion. The entire experience was filled with poor communication, unprofessional staff, and zero customer service. There was no room service, no hospitality, and no accountability. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, this is not the place. Unless you enjoy frustration, rudeness, and doing everything yourself stay away!

I was without AC for 4 days before they finally switched me to another room. It took multiple calls a day and multiple visits to the front desk until I finally talked to maintenance. Maintenance explained the thermostat was broken and that the front desk should it could not be fixed and shouldn't have anyone stay in that room

Rundown and dangerous rooms

The food was flavourful, on our first day the jerk centre had no available food from about 5:15 pm . The beds and linen was uncomfortable . The twin roll Out bed was like solid rock, my son had to sleep on the couch instead of the bed. We changed rooms due to the drain cover being loose(which was discovered byy 1 year old) , mold in the bathroom and the hair dryer falling off the fall, the new room didn’t have things falling apart , but it was dusty and the bathroom hard water all over indicating neglect over a period of time . My experiences clearly shows that the management team JS not been investing in the property , but willingly accept guests hard earned cash for subpar accommodations . I will however note that the staff at the hostel made the effort to help where they could and I would give the staff about 4.5 stars . Management needs to step up their game, they are not providing 5 star accommodations but more like a 1.5 star

This is an excellent place for a family vacation. The food is not great but the beautiful grounds, stunning beach areas, friendly staff, and outstanding musical entertainment make up for the older property and basic food. I would definitely recommend for families looking to relax and enjoy Jamaica.

To start off, when I arrived at the resort, my family and I waited almost 2 hours after the check-in time. The food at the buffet is terrible. My family and I were also unable to reserve at any of the restaurants that the resort has to offer. When we did get a reservation at one, they messed up the number of guests I had on my reservation as well as my decision to eat habachi that night. I payed for a premium room and it was not well kept. All in all it was not worth my money and they will never see me again.

Overall this was a pleasant stay. The layout of the property was a bit confusing, but I eventually figured it out. Staff was incredibly helpful when planning my aunt’s birthday dinner and the staff in the restaurants were pleasant and hospitable for the most part. Transportation to and from the airport was okay, although on the way to the resort I was in a small van that made multiple stops, so it took longer to get to the resort. There were some issues with some of the excursions my aunt planned, but ultimately they were resolved. I also had an issue with getting towels and the mini bar stocked daily as was advertised, but all in all, a decent stay.
