Awesome staff! Very helpful and friendly. The reception staff helped us with our luggage--they carried it to and from our room that was located in the basement area. They held our luggage for us on the day of departure. They provided maps and suggestions on where to go and how to get there. The hotel itself is very unique with beautiful woodwork inside.

It's a quaint little property at a fantastic price. It's located within walking distance of many of the big attractions of Montreal, and within a couple minutes of the Sherbrooke metro stop. Their morning breakfast is simple, but delicious. The staff was super friendly and personable. The rooms had A/C units to help you cool down after a long day of walking. They even have this digital wine machine in the lobby so you can enjoy at your leisure in the evening. My single room didn't have a private bathroom - but I believe that is an issue with Expedia not properly listing the description (most rooms have them - and it wasn't an issue for a solo traveler like myself). I would absolutely come back for another visit.

The property is beautiful and the staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. Just one thing to keep in mind, since it is an old building, you can easily hear other people in the hallway going in and out. We loved the location's proximity to all the things we wanted to do.

This stately old building has been renovated extensively but it is still an old building in an old part of Montreal. We knew what it would be like when we made our reservation and chose history and charm over modern conveniences. The staff was wonderful - by noon we felt like family. They called us by name and were eager to go out of their way to meet any need we had. Our room was small but the bed was comfortable. It was a great stay and we will definitely come back.

This was a lovely “old fashioned” hotel in a nice quiet area off the main drag in Montreal / Sherbrooke. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Tge bedroom was huge and nicely furnished . Bathroom had both a spa bath and shower and spotless. Breakfast buffet was a delight with everything you could want. Tea coffee and hot chocolate. All in all it was a delight and real find.hopeful we can return some day. Annis Jones
