The place needs to be updated. The staff was okay but when we checked in, I asked if it was a bad neighborhood and she lied. There were hookers everywhere, day and night.

It was located off the interstate which made it easy for us to move about but once night fell there were all sorts of shady(prostitutes and druggies) characters lurking about. One of the employees(a Hispanic male, was standing outside of room smoking meth/crack out of a crushed grape soda can. He offered a hit to my 18 yr old son. The rooms wreaked of urine and when I alerted the front desk they were suppose to clean the carpet while we were out. Carpet was vacuumed but the urine smell remained. The room wasn’t even cleaned Saturday(remove trash, fresh towels, make the bed) and they seemed shocked when we checked out early. We traveled from Springfield ,Illinois to New Orleans, LA, hotel accommodation was damn near $700 for two rooms/ e nights. Very disappointing

The hotel is in a challenging area. There is good security around it. The room that we stayed in was dated, dingy and the pillows were small uncomfortable and stained. The room appeared clean and the water for the shower was HOT. Which was a huge plus.

This property should be shut down. I would not even let my dog stay here. I wish I could attach the pictures I took upon arriving to our room. This hotel was listed as "very good" when I originally booked the room which is a total scam. Over $500 per night because it was Super Bowl. I should have known better but because it had Wyndham as the hotel operator I thought maybe it would be okay. In summary: FILTHY! BED BUGS on box springs along with human hairs, food debris and who knows what else. Bright red lipstick stained on pillow case. Located in RED LIGHT district. Garbage and dirty towels strewn in halls at 3 PM in the afternoon. Writing this to warn others. We did not stay and have requested a refund.

Bathroom ceiling leaked leaving bathroom floor wet every morning. staff wouldn’t call a cab for us, were rude and disinterested, noisy neighbours partying until wee hours of the morning, phone in room did not work. Power went out. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9am went down at 8:40 closed. No coffee if there was it was cold. Do not book here.!!!
