Each room comes with two small 200ml bottles of water. These water bottles have tags which stated that are free for Hilton Honor member in each stay. As a Hilton Honor member, I thought I could consume them for free. Few hours after I checked out, I got a charge of $6.00 from the hotel. The front desk person told me over the phone that is the water bottle charge as I am not a gold or silver member. He even emphasized that I overlooked the small text stating the bottle water is only free for gold and silver members. Since it is just $6, I didn’t argue to waive such small bill.
In my opinion, this free water tag is misleading and causes customer confusion. Moreover, the staff didn’t listen to customer to resolve the issue. He could have offered to waive the $6 bill. Thus, I am quite upset about the customer service.
