The hotel rooms are very clean. Just make sure you let them know if you want early checkin orcyou may have a problem. Your code is what lets you in the building.other than that, things are very close by. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is very safe.

First and foremost, the staff and reps in the chats, and customer service for this hotel/company was top tier. When someone was at the front desk, *which was surprisingly pretty often* they were lovely. Very helpful, and really sincerely friendly. That is the ONLY reason this wasn't a 1 star, wish-it-could-be-a-zero rating, is because of them. Unfortunately, this hotel will take a lot of time, money, construction, design, and cleaning to be the hotel represented in the photos. My room smelled like mildew, -addressed IMMEDIATELY by Steven, who had exhausted other options and initiated the cancellation of the remainder of my reservation, with a full refund, no penalties. (ty, Steven;). Also, the exterior of the window was filthy, and when I turned on the air, it fogged up.ew. It was like a hostel but one with a nice bathroom, tbh. I was saving this next bit for the scathing email that I'm ready to send when that refund hits. I'll put the abbreviated version here to qualify the sad, "poor" rating.. I was awakened at 2am, by a Sonder employee from a different location, pounding on my door like a lunatic. Yes, there is more to the story- obviously. I may have made a mistake, but at the end of the day, I'm still a guest in this... place. It's a New York "Aparthotel", I mean?!! You have NO idea what people are going thru. I was so embarrassed. I couldn't get the sound of her banging with her whole back, screaming at the top of her lungs, demanding I open the door

The online check in process was a little inconvenient because I needed to send a pic of my driver’s license which made me uncomfortable. The room was small but very clean. No on-site parking so I had to pay a lot to park in a nearby garage. Check out was quick and easy.

The room was very nice and clean, the room offered Netflix and YouTube (if you have accounts) which was a very nice feature and the water pressure in the shower was also very nice! Would stay there again! :)

The property is in a fantastic location, but overall the stay was just okay. Our biggest bug bear was that the room was really grubby and dirty in areas especially the bathroom lots of dust and grime around the corners of the room as well. The bathroom facilities were not in good condition the floor of the shower was. There were traces of mould on the ceiling and a clear damp issue.

I was not happy with hotel at all. When you walk in there is construction to your left that goes all day. The gentleman that was at the front desk was pleasant and I was trying to check in early as I was coming from another hotel I checked out of. He said check in is at 4PM, but would contact me when the room becomes available. I walked around for an hour and then came back and he said the room was available. The room was not the best. I was placed on the 2nd floor right above the construction that was going on in the lobby area below. The construction went on till about 6PM. Then continued around 9AM the following morning. There were also people outside my room taking measurements and being noisy. I’m not sure why you would place someone in that room knowing there would be construction going on directly below.

Shame; the photos looked great. It’s possible that I was unlucky with the room (very low ceiling with a cranky and noisy temperament ceiling heating/AC unit)… I'd have left if I hadn't paid the whole stay in advance. The bedsheet had dirty marks on it, and underneath I discovered several long hairs. After I reported the issue, they promptly provided a new sheet, but the condition of the mattress itself left me uncomfortable. The rest of the room and bathroom were clean enough. The walls had zero soundproofing. (They gave me earplugs and a white noise machine…) Location was good, and the staff was nice, but I won't be going back there again.

worst "hotel"

I was unaware this wasn't a hotel with people behind a desk to help with check-in. I got there at 11 pm, tired and ready to go to sleep and I couldn't get inside the lobby until someone let me in. They were doing construction and there were plastic sheets hanging down the hallway. Long story short I finally got a code, went to my room and could not get inside. So at 11:55 pm I left, asked the cabb driver to take me to another hotel.

Bad maintenance and rude cleaning staff

Property overall is nice and location is very convenient. Interior is nice and they have lockers to keep your luggage which is very convenient. However, my stay was a nightmare: when I’ve entered the room, bathroom wasn’t clean, with dark hair all over, dirty towers folded and the shower brocken and dripping non-stop. When I’ve asked reception to call someone to fix it they said I had to step out of the room for that time, which I couldn’t as I had exactly 1 hour to rest and get ready for an important event. In one hour they said cleaners had left and they will fix it next day. Next day at 11 I was woken up with the request to leave my room because I was relocated to another room, which I wasn’t aware of. The cleaners were rude and when I agreed with customer service team that I’ll stay in my booked room they refused to clean my room or fix the shower, I had to be back and forth on the phone for 1 hour. As an escalation, reception deactivated my key and I had to stay in the hall for 30mins until service team activates my key. Horrible experience, I stayed in a room with a brocken shower, received no compensation for it ever. Only once customer service reached out to me and then never replied. Negative experience overall.
