The property is significantly dated and in desperate need of upgrades. The room was clearly painted, but many items were not prepped. The bathtub was inoperative, the door did not properly close, and the security latch was missing. The grounds are dilapidated. I will no consider staying at this property again.

Paul and the staff were just awesome! Very friendly and always seeing to our needs. The whole place was in great shape. I could tellvthat a lot of work went into gettingvthis place back where it is now. I saw staff or Paul walking the property picking up after litterbugs and just checking on things. The grandkids loved the resident Hen and her 5 chicks.

On the Expedia app it shows it being closed to Fort Walton and it's nowhere near Fort Walton when you pull up hotels for Fort Walton and Destin they show this hotel that is 20 minutes plus away or more with traffic. This hotel should not be listed for hotels in to Fort Walton or Destin FL
