The room, lobby, and pool area was clean and in good order. The staff was friendly and polite; I particularly got a kick out of Halley at the front desk and our discussion about great places to eat. I love that the pool and hot tub are open until Midnight for adults! The pool area is spacious and the timbered roof is beautiful! The concern I had was that on the back wall the vertical, wooden, window sills appeared to have black mold on them and some on the the roof timber closest to those windows. AI reports that black mold near a swimming area can be a significant health risk. This can be easily fixed with a foam mold remover (like Zep No-Scrub Mold/Mildew Remover, or similar products from Lysol or Oxi-Clean). I trust that will be remedied, so we can return to our favorite hotel in Norway. Another positive is that the pool is a comfortable temperature. Swim one length and it feels great! Other fun features are the games next to the beautiful fireplace and lobby furniture, and the super interesting framed, historical, pictures by the stairs and 2nd floor hallway. Thanks for a great stay. Way to go, Motel 6 staff!

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We stayed here December 29–30 as part of a holiday ski trip and rented 9 rooms. We paid for multiple nights and left early because conditions were so bad. From check-in onward, staff were hostile, rude, and completely unprofessional. We were told we couldn’t gather in the lobby or pool area, with staff inventing a “10 PM closure” that was posted nowhere. At 10 PM, the manager stormed into the pool and screamed at children to “get out,” citing rules that were also not posted. Later, the front desk threatened to call the police if we didn’t all return to our rooms by 10 PM — something I’ve never experienced at any hotel, ever. The parking lot was unplowed more than 36 hours after snowfall, creating unsafe conditions. Staff wrongly accused one of our group of parking dangerously, then never apologized when proven wrong. Rooms and lobby were dirty — crumbs, candy, dirt under beds and in furniture. Smoke detectors in the hallway were taped over, which is terrifying and appears to be a fire code violation. Only one key per room was allowed unless you paid a $20 deposit. The next day, the pool was suddenly “closed” with no explanation. Staff wore pajamas, made up rules, and treated paying guests like criminals. All nine rooms moved to another hotel. Save yourself the stress. Stay literally anywhere else.

Yes very nice place to stay ,close to many outdoor activities also .After a long day skiing or fishing pending on the time I stay here ,the hot tub is the best night cap for sure.Samantha (Sam) has been keeping this hotel properly perfect and of course the team that helps .

The stay in your hotel was far less than ideal! My room was filthy. Especially the sink area. The towels and shower curtain were in a ball right next to that sink. Your staff was nothing short of horribly rude. The children in our party were afraid to walk through the lobby. I had to pack up and leave for another hotel it was so bad.

They are extremely rude they charge for everything even if you late for check out for 10 minutes they want to bill you 30$ and then when you keep calling them they never answer back. The rooms are ok same indian management motel so no customer service

The staff was friendly and very helpful. It’s not terrible for the price but here are some things to know and what could be improved: There are no elevators to get to the second floor. The hall carpets are stained, several things are taped as though painting was just done but they have been like that for over a year, the comforters are awful as the stuffing is squished into clumps within the stitching, the fridge in room is tiny to make it almost unhelpful at all, and an extra room key requires a $20 deposit. The pool and hot tub were clean and fun. They even have toys and balls there for kids to play with. Overall, it’s a cheap price for a reason, but it’s better than most hotels at the same price point.
