This was the perfect location on the boardwalk. Close to all the fun parts of the boardwalk. Friendly staff as we walked in. Room was spacious and the balcony gave a wonderful view of the ocean.

Overall, the Monte Carlo Boardwalk Hotel opens up Ocean City to its guests. It is right on the boardwalk, with a wide sandy beach out the front door. Plus, it has two good restaurants embedded in the property. It is a modern, sparkling hotel. We had a room with a balcony facing to the west. We were surprised that there was so much early morning noise because of the garbage pickup. There was also a real fire alarm as we were about to check out. Evidently, there was a contained electrical fire. The desk managers gave us an additional hour to check out which was appreciated.

Parking is an issue, it's hard to find and the lots reserved for guests are always full. There is nothing to cook with in the room kitchen, you have a convenient kitchen area however you can't use it unless you bring your own pans and spatula, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The room could have been cleaned better, I found a previous guest's makeup on the floor by the bed, along with some dropped potato chips. The location is great, steps from the beach with a great balcony.

The entrance door to room was extremely hard to push open. Staff said it was humidity. Steel doors dont expand!! the hall rug was jammed under the door. the bathroom door also Very hard to open. No hand towels all week.Only washclothes and bath towels.A/C filter was filthy. I took it to balcony and cleaned it. (a 2 minute job). No exhaust fan in bath.One bed really sagged very badly.No receipt on checking out. I worked hotel maintenance after I retired from steel mill.Most of these issues should be taken care of by maintenance. Why put your room card in card reader to have electric in your room??

The property was in a good location with a great restaurant Crepe Daddy on the first floor. No one told us the room had no windows. Our 9 year old daughter called it a bunker. We had to go outside to see what the weather was like. The hotel staff said there was 1 room on each floor with no windows.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. My wife loved the balcony viiew. My grandson loved the rooftop pool. It was right on the boardwalk so I loved the fact i didn't have to drive anywhere.

The only issue I had was we were on the second floor right on top of the Crepe place and they would turn their music on around 730 am and the bass would be pretty annoying. The did make great Crepes and espresso though, and the staff Was very friendly, we ate there every morning

Great location, customer experience is poor

This hotel is in a great location and the balcony with 6 seat table was outstanding. I received a text from the hotel ahead of check-in which was great. Parking is a couple of blocks away and limited to 1 car per room which I had not read in the reservation details. I noted an odor in the room but no one followed up from the hotel. The hotel cleaning staff did not pick-up trash or change towels one day during the stay but noted that the room had been serviced when we informed the front desk that our trash was overflowing. We were given trash bags and asked to put the trash outside our door instead of hotel staff coming to pick up the trash. Room is equipped with a small stove but does not provide any cooking equipment, which seemed odd. This also is not communicated, and I was only aware from reading reviews. The hotel has potential to be a great place, but there appears to be little emphasis by management on the customer experience. Enjoyed the size and balcony and locaton, but not sure I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay. This is our second year staying here. The ocean front balcony room we had was great. You can see and hear the ocean. Watch the sunrise. Hear the music down stairs and see up and down the boardwalk.
