I booked a standard room with two queen beds; however, upon arrival, we were initially assigned to a room designated for guests who may be hearing impaired. While I mean no offense and fully respect the need for such accommodations, we were surprised to be placed in this room without having requested it in our reservation. We asked the front desk whether this was the only room available, and were told that it was not. This raised the question as to why we were assigned to a specialty room that could be reserved by someone who actually needs it. After requesting a change, we were moved to another room, which turned out to be handicap accessible—again, something we had not requested. Despite having clearly communicated our preference for a standard room, we were assigned two accessible rooms consecutively. My travel companions and I are particular when it comes to our accommodations. We thoroughly inspect rooms for cleanliness and potential damage. While the rooms appeared clean at first glance, we consistently found residual dirt and dust when we wiped down surfaces with our own sanitizing products. Additionally, we had requested a quiet room, ideally in a less trafficked area. However, we were placed next to a family with young children, and were woken early by significant noise around 7:00–8:00 AM. While we understand that some noise is to be expected, we had hoped our request would be taken in. Overall, the hotel offers a convenient stay.

Nice property, staff challenges

Needed to be close to the airport for an early flight, so this works. However front desk staff needs to NOT call people "love" and "darling" because it is inappropriate (and I'm a southerner) and unprofessional.
