Clean, comfortable and great breakfast! Very close in proximity to the overlook view of the dam, you can walk to it. The only downer was the pool. It was on the cold side and inside.

Stayed at the wingate hotel for 4 nights. It was only 11 min away from every directions to any destination we wanted to go visit. Had a balcony view of the the Dam. The breakfast every morning and a guest laundry was a plus due to our long stay. The room was clean and it was quiet. I really have nothing bad to say about this place.

The pet fee is $50, double what most hotels charge. As far as I know, it is not disclosed anywhere. The booking info says “pet fee” but not how much. Booked thru Expedia, non-refundable, so when you arrive you are stuck for an additional $50. Unscrupulous.

There was a roaring noise all night and it only stopped in the morning. Not sure if it was because I booked on Expedia but attendant gave me a rate that was $70 higher to book as a walk in.

The bed was great. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The tub in the room had hair from a previous guest and the TV remote didn't work. Overall good experience.
