This hotels is good for those staying in Kata area. The beach is nice and clean and it’s within reasonable walking distance but the hotel does provide free shuttle to the beach and night market. It would be nice if the shuttle comes every 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes. Guests are on vacation and who has time to wait. They only have one shuttle. It’s not like the drive is busy all the time. Breakfast is good and passed the test. Good value for the stay. Parking is limited. Would we be back again ? Only if they provide free shuttle every 15 minutes during peak hours.

Lovely people. Bed comfy, rooms spacious. Rooms smell mouldy due to air conditionier needing to be on the whole time. Close to everything but extremely steep hill to walk to get back. Would be good if there was a bus to the kata st, just because of the hill. The bus to the beach is great even though it’s only a 1 minute ride

We had a wonderful stay at Kata Avista Resort and Spa in Phuket. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, with the pool area being a particular highlight – relaxing, well-kept, and perfect for both adults and children. Our daughter absolutely loved the kids club, which was run so professionally by the caring staff. She spent most of her time there and had such a great experience, giving us peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. The food at the resort was outstanding, with the breakfast buffet offering an amazing variety and quality. We also have to mention the cocktails – honestly the best we’ve ever had! Overall, our stay was everything we hoped for and more. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Kata Avista Resort and Spa to anyone visiting Phuket.

The customer service was top notch. I had a couple of issues that were quickly resolved. The staff tended to us speedily, made sure we were comfortable and were very courteous. The standout staff member was May. She was amazing and my daughter loved her. We would stay at this resort again. The location was great, the food was DELICIOUS and the environment was peaceful.

Stayed here for 4 nights with two teens two adults. Rooms are spacious. Staff are friendly and super helpful. Breakfast is good. Pool is big and beach is walkable or can hop on the hotel van service that runs every 30 mins. Laundry service, convenient store, night market, restaurants is down the hill. We would stay here again. The steep hills would be hard for those with walking problem.

The beds are very comfortable. Both swimming pools are great fun for the kids. One hour free kids indoor playground a day was a great thing to have. Breakfast was very good. Options changed slightly each day. Staff were helpful. Tour desk was a lot more expensive than shops outside. Id recommend going down the bottom of the hill. There is a small tour shop just at the bottom there which sorted us out really good prices and was very helpful. Only con is the hill to get back to the hotel but there is a shuttle bus every 30 mins if you time it right. Beach and restuarants and bars are all easily walkable from hotel. We fully enjoyed our stay
