Staff at the desk was down to earth, helpful, knowledgable. Great amenities on site, from a camp store to two playgrounds, to a pool for warmer months. Room was beautiful, spacious and well-lit. Bed was super comfy! The reasons I am not giving five stars: a few things were quirky or didn't work right--bathroom floor was slanted at a strange angle that made me feel off balance and induced vertigo a few times, door was hard to lock/unlock due to lock being very close to door frame, there didn't seem to be any enforcement of quiet hours (I had loud drunk people above or to the side of me both nights), only two buttons on the t.v. remote worked, so I was never able to watch anything, and for better or worse, the river was not as accessible as it looks in the photos. I would totally come again, but I would probably ask for a quieter room assignment and check that everything worked okay while the front desk folks were still available.

Amazing staff the room was comfortable and cute . I forgot my wedding ring and the front desk and the owner were extremely helpful and it really makes me want to go back again each time I get the chance .

Staff was friendly and helpful the room was clean for the most part. When we wanted to use the coffeepot, there was an old used coffee filter and leftover coffee in the pot so we were unable to use that. Besides that room was clean. We did miss the use of the kitchen that was located outside our room. Overall really enjoyed our stay!

Great location! Very quiet and cute spot in the Redwoods! The pub was a great spot for a bite. We had the a Barbecue Burger and the Chichen Phil-thy - both were yummy! We would stay again!

Relaxing Redwood Family Adventure

This was our second year in a row! I accidentally booked a room in the Hotel building instead of a cabin and it was almost exactly the same! The kitchenette is inside and there is no personal fire pit but we were not disappointed! There were 3 Goldilocks beds in our room for me and my 2 teens. We slept like rocks both nights on the memory foam mattresses! The pool and games are great for families to enjoy on their getaway. We will continue to travel back to the property annually! Everything is so clean, thoughtful and cozy. grove of Redwoods the property is on is so serene. 10/10 you have to check them out!

Family trip to the redwoods.

Very nice day in the midst of the coast redwoods. We stayed in the. Firehouse and included three adults and three children. We all enjoyed the camp store, (cold) swimming pool, playground, and especially access to the river. We did very well in the.modest facility as far as cooking, bathing, and sleeping. The camp staff was friendly, and we felt secure. We appreciated having both a charcoal grill and round fire pit, with outside chairs. we found wild blackberries on the property!
