I understand the pet-friendly concept, but owners should ensure they know what their pets are doing at all times. A woman, on her phone and wearing sunglasses indoors, was waiting for the elevator when she allowed her leashed dog to pee right outside my room door. She watched it happen, continued her phone conversation, and simply said, “Come, sweetie, let’s go,” as if it were completely normal. She then stepped into the elevator that had just arrived. I was absolutely stunned!
