Fine for an overnight layover at PDX

The front desk person on 10/14 night shift was short with her answers when I called about the shuttle, hung up the phone with saying Goodbye and seemed like she thought she had better things to do when we arrived to check in. The shuttle was prompt and the drivers were friendly. The room we stayed in was clean but the door was open a bit when we got to the room. We realized that the door just didn’t close unless you pulled it shut. That was a safety concern. The water pressure was very low. The price was fine.

The hotel was perfect for our needs of an affordable place for one night with a shuttle to the airport. Very no-frills, but was definitely worth the price.

There are signs everywhere that this property is declining, including sinks, plugging up and cracks in the wall. But the biggest inconvenience was that the guy who checked me in claimed that he set me up for a 3 AM shuttle and when I got up and got ready at that ungodly hour I had no reservation.

The area where the hotel is located is near the airport with a closed parking system. Google gives terrible directions to get there. Room is dated, but clean and comfortable. Expedia listing shows breakfast served daily, but told at the hotel that there was none. Hotel website says restaurant is closed and it looks like renovations are taking place. Many staff very kind and pleasant, one much less so. A good place to stay.

This hotel is very run down. The lock on my room has been essentially ripped from the wall and broken, the hair dryer was broken, the tub was worn down and discolored and the place was over all beat up
