Overall it was a great time at the resort. I was only there for a couple of days, on my own, and the experience more or less met what I was expecting. It was a very relaxing vibe, mostly older demographic and families. Not a big resort by any means, but the beach area was very big, and there was plenty of space and lounge chairs at any time. The pools were pretty small, but not ever over crowded. The buffet food was slightly above par for an all inclusive, and the restaurants were ok - the Japanese steakhouse dinner was by far the best experience! Super quiet evenings in the resort, definitely not a party crowd, and generally not extremely social. Majority of servers and bartenders were great and nice, although had a few conversations that were tough to have with those who did not know English. I’d definitely recommend this place for folks who want a simplistic relaxing time by a beach.

The hotel is nice. It’s in a nice little area with a small mall close by with some cute shops. Our favorite staff members were two of the greeters. They were always friendly and chatting with us when we would go out and about for anything. The rest of the staff was not as friendly. Some just came across as being annoyed and not interested in helping or being there. The restaurants were fun. One thing I wish they did compared to other all inclusive is having walk up snack bars throughout the hotel and not just in one restaurant for a few hours. One thing to also be mindful of. Don’t leave money in your clothes or out. I had unfortunately left pesos in a pair of my swim shorts and it was not there the next day after the cleaning crew came in. So that was disappointing.

It's been a long time since we've stayed at an all-inclusive so bear that in mind. We usually stay at small hotels or apartments, but for this trip, we only had four nights and wanted to be at a nice, swimmable beach with good service and food. This place met our needs nicely. Huge, clean beach. Lots of beach chairs. Great sunset views. The food was very good, for buffet style. We only ate at the Italian and Mexican a la cartes. They were okay as a break from the buffet. The beach-side snack bar was actually our favourite as it's open-air and has a great vibe. Drinks were decent. At the lobby bar they were better and it has a nice lounge vibe. Everything was very clean but the rooms and hallways were pretty worn around the edges. Beds were very comfy. Ocean views were nice but no balconies :( Overall, a good place for a quick break.

Overall ok, I booked 5 rooms and asked for an upgrade for my room. They upgraded all of the other rooms and wanted me to pay $300 to upgrade my room. That was a bit weird given Expedia status. The Tokyo restaurant was great. No food served outside of the restaurants, poolside, etc. friendly staff.

The staff was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. (2 notable employees at Le Buffett are Marisol & Antonio.) All of our needs were met and an upgrade was offered because our room was not quite ready upon our check-in. The ONLY downside to our stay was the towels. They are very scratchy. Others that that small detail, our stay was very nice!
