Mom & 20 yr old daughter trip, went to tan & chill. Location - Very centrally located to bank, pharmacy, markets, gift shops, restaurants, boardwalk. Food - excellent variety for all inclusive plan, primarily mexican dishes. I'm a picky eater but had plenty to choose from to fill me up at every meal. Good drinks, weren't watered down imo. It's on the beach. Vendors walking along the beach are constant. They will even try and get your attention if you're laying on your stomach. Facility/room - It's not as modern as ritzy places but had authentic Mexico atmosphere I'd expect. Beds were clean & comfy. Water was hot when it needed to be. Our room was on the 4th floor where we had a large balcony, big enough to lay out on loungers and tan. That is nice when you want elbow space & want to move your lounger. Most rooms have a small balcony, maybe room for 2 chairs and small table. Downside to our room...we were on the south side of the building with a street adjacent to us. Occasionally a little noisy at night but moreso in the morning. Delivery trucks would back up by 8am and their reverse beeps would absolutely wake me up. If you are a light sleeper and hope to sleep in, the north side of the property might be better for you. Staff - superb!! Shout out to Ricardo in the evening buffet service. He made us feel like royalty. Bartenders & housekeeping staff were also so friendly and accommodating. Tip the staff. They work hard for us. Both of us would def stay there again.

Room was small and dirty and bathroom too. Very noisy and can hear people yelling outside room. Room needs to be upgraded because all the furniture is outdated and from the 1970’s. Will never forget the orange walls like pumpkins in room and dirty shower curtain in bathroom. We had to check out early from our five day paid stay . We only stayed 2 days and left. Did not get any money back

This is my 2nd stay at the hotel. The room was very convenient for my mother, but it was a little worn down. Its needs a "face lift' and a small coffee pot in room. Otherwise very nice.

The resort is beautiful and in a great location. There was in an incredible view from the outdoor restaurant facing the ocean. The 3 pools were great, especially the lounge chairs that were in the pool. The staff are very friendly. Tatiana was so patient with all of our questions. Check in was easy. They offer activities during the day including stretch, aqua fitness, cooking and a fun happy hour. The rooms were dated and a bit somber with all the dark drapes and furniture. I expected bright happy colors but we were rarely in our room so it was not a big deal. We were offered all inclusive but declined as there were so many fun restaurants to check out, many which had music due to the jazz festival week. I would return to this resort.

The location is amazing. Dining, shopping, and adult drinks are plentyful. This is definitely the best area to stay in Puerto Vallarta. This property, on the other hand, is very dated. The space is suitable, but there were issues. The fridge leaked water everywhere (I informed staff), missing curtains, tiles missing from the pool, and broken lamp shades. It was suitable for a quick getaway. A makeover is overdue.
