Beautiful property, loved the access to the other Catalonia Resort. Food was great along with the service. Pool was great, the beach was beautiful as well. Room was spacious and the beds super comfy. Played a little bocce as well The nightly entertainment was excellent. Perhaps remove the seaweed

I arrived at your hotel around 1:30 PM and was informed that my room wasn’t ready. I was asked to return in about an hour, so my wife and I went to the lobby restaurant to have some food. At approximately 2:50 PM, I returned to the front desk and was assigned room 3611. Upon entering the room, I found it to be completely unsuitable for staying in. I went back to the lobby and spoke with Xavier, the manager, who assured me that housekeeping would address the issues. I waited in the lobby until around 6:00 PM for the room to be cleaned properly. Even after the cleaning, the room remained unsatisfactory. As a visitor from America, I am here for what is supposed to be a fun and relaxing vacation, but this experience has been anything but enjoyable. When I asked to be moved to another room, both Xavier and Ana told me there were no other rooms available. However, around 8:00 PM, I noticed housekeeping cleaning rooms 3607 and 3612 in the same building, which had clearly been vacated. This contradicted what I was told earlier, leaving me feeling misled and frustrated. It seemed they were aware that I had no other options, given that I am in a foreign country and needed a place to stay. Room 3611 is in terrible condition and should never have been assigned to any guest. It has a strong musty smell, as if it hasn’t been used in a long time. The refrigerator doesn’t work properly, and the bathroom area is in need of repairs. Considering the amount of money I paid to stay at your hote

Overall the property is nice itself. This resort is for ages 50 adults, I say this because everything is happening super early and finish super early. Even though it’s an adult resort it’s really no cool activities and events going on in the afternoon/evening everyone is sleep by 9PM. The beach had a lot of seaweed on it you can barely walk and enjoy the scene.TVs don’t work in the rooms phones didn’t work to call for questions , room service or even an emergency, mini fridge wasn’t cold at all. You have to make a reservations for every single restaurant on the resort if you don’t you’re out of luck on food because everything closes too early. Room service options was horrible they don’t bring any type of condiments for your food and the selection is very slim to none, front desk was rude and didn’t know their job. OH! And by the way the night club picture you see that’s false advertisement it’s no night club. The only thing I really enjoyed was the pool which they did have a pool party during the day but that ended early as well actually it ended at 5PM. The spa experience wasn’t really all of that and it’s very small don’t waste your money. Again nice resort but if you want to party, have a good time , stay up late doing evening events and activities this is not the place . If you want to relax , play golf and be in bed by 9PM go for it.

I was really looking forward to my stay at Catalonia Resort, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, the service was disappointing. The check-in staff did a poor job—there was no welcome drink, no explanation of resort amenities, and I wasn’t given a card for towel service. I also wasn’t informed about how room service worked, how to make dinner reservations, or how to find out about daily activities. To make matters worse, my room had a broken phone, and I wasn’t given the Premium Junior Suite I originally booked. When I brought this to the receptionist’s attention, I was told I would be moved to the correct room the next day—but only after 3 PM, which was inconvenient and frustrating. As for the food, it was very underwhelming. The selection was basic—pizza, burgers, salmon—nothing special or memorable. The only redeeming aspect of my stay was the drinks, which were well-made. Overall, I expected much better service and hospitality. I would not recommend this resort based on my experience, and I hope they make significant improvements for future guests.
