This building is LEED Certified. The building is nicely decorated, ALL of the STAFF is friendly, helpful, and ready to assist in any way they can to make your visit welcoming and pleasant. We did have a bit of extra exciting entertainment, in the form of a fire alarm during the middle of the afternoon, which attests to the staff being prepared for the unlikely event of an actual emergency. It appears that a smoke detector//alarm detectors the burning popcorn in one of the guests room, which caused the alarm to sound. Hotel was evacuated in an orderly fashion/manner. The manager profusely apologized to each guest for the disruption. Thankfully the weather was nice, and there wasn’t an actual event that could have caused property damage and or life/safety issues. The reason for our stay was to take our dog to the cardiologist veterinary Doctors at NC State which included a three day visit.

Highly disappointed in breakfast bar, cleanliness, and service. Every morning we came down it was out of food and beverage, no one attending to trash and overflowing. Stayed here many times and never experienced this so hopefully just a bad weekend?

We were visiting NC State for a tour with our daughter. The location was perfect for us. Tucked out of the way from the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to the university and restaurants. The room was very clean, and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We would gladly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
