It’s a beautiful hotel in a unique position overlooking the forum. Breakfast on the roof terrace, a drink in the roof bar, ample lounges make the public spaces very inviting. The bedrooms are comfortable and very well appointed. Best is the lovely staff, helpful, professional and friendly. A lovely stay.

hotel itself is fine, staff friendly etc. Restaurant cannot be recommended, poor food and twice the price of nearby restaurants that offer good price / quality menus. Breakfast is OK and the views are superb. Our request to change rooms (ours was right opposite a noisy bar and we couldn't close the window because the aircon had not yet been activated) was met and a much better room was provided at the same price. The lobby bar is always closed but the American bar on the roof can only be used when the weather permits. We would however stay there again as the location is perfect for sight-seeing tourists.

Old fashioned

If you like old fashioned Hotels with a bit of quirky character this is for you. The location and view from the rooftop restaurant are wonderful, but there are no coffee/tea- making facilities in the rooms. European style adapters don't work as they have an older electrical system, but the staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent city hotel

Views fantastic and could not be bettered. Restaurant and its staff excellent. No TV guide or hotel brochure. Would go again if in Rome.

Perfekte Lage

Diverse Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

on l'a essayé
