Our stay was phenomenal! Staff was so great and made our friends birthday trip extra special. You can tell they all love the work that do there and it shows. Breakfast had a HUGE selection and their rooftop bar was perfect. Thank you all again!

Stayed three nights after our cruise. The staff was great. They arranged our transportation from the cruise port to the hotel and to the airport. Our room was ready when we arrived early. Very helpful with directions. The hotel is walking distance of the Colosseum and Vatican. We will stay their again next time we visit Rome!

Hotel Smeraldo exceeded our expectations. The driver who brought us from the airport picked us up right on time. He was a great driver and we were very comfortable in his new Mercedes. Leonardo at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. The location is close to a Piazza where there are many restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of choices. I would definitely recommend Hotel Smeraldo.

The hotel is nicely renovated, with many accommodation options, a friendly, helpful staff, and superb breakfasts. The neighborhood can be noisy, so even with the double glazed windows closed, earplugs for sleeping are useful.
