Lou was exceptional with check in and quality assurance during the entire stay. He was knowledge and accommodating to our needs. The pool and spa were great working order and offered such a nice space to relax. One of the better Best Western stays!

The staff was very courteous and the breakfast was good. When we checked in, the room we were assigned had something wrong with the key card reader and we changed the cards several times because the keys wouldn’t open the door. They finally just moved us to a different room. The tissue box only had three tissues in it so we ran out the first hour with allergies. The toilet broke in the middle of the night and I had to reattach the chain to flush it. The last night the heater didn’t work. Luckily it wasn’t too cold that night so we just snuggled with blankets. The towels had stains on them and the room overall could use a facelift. It had been well used.

On Christmas’s Eve right after we checked into the room, we checked under the mattress to check for bed bugs. We found 3 tiny bugs (~5mm) that Google lens identified as roaches. So we don’t stay any longer and found another hotel. The manager called us back the day after Christmas and said they’d had their Pest Control team check the room and found nothing and that they’d refund our money except for a $50 “cleaning fee” since we had undone the sheets!

A bit rundown but very clean, staff were all very nice. Room even had a couple down-alternative pillows, which are usually hard to find. Freezer in the room mini fridge was not at freezing temperature (my cooler ice was sludge in the morning) and none of the clocks in the room were set correctly. Breakfast is fine, nothing special.

Booked this to enjoy the pool and hot tub. They were not working. There was nothing on the hotel’s website to indicate this. Decided a hot bath would be a good substitute. Bath tub plug didn’t work so couldn’t get tub to fill. TV was a large smart TV that they advertised we could cast our Netflix to. But couldn’t connect to the internet. When we called the front desk, they said the TVs were new and “hadnt been configured yet.” So basically, nothing was as advertised. Except the hot breakfast.
