Overall an excellent hotel , a couple of minor annoyances, My wife got wrong meal in restaurant one night and after it was changed there was no apology for this and I was half way through my meal when correct food arrived In the The sky bar one evening the staff took a good 10 minutes to attend to us and seemed occupied with certain customers and took a few minutes to acknowledge a gentleman who was sitting next to us who was trying to pay his bill. Didn’t seem to have situational awareness of the bar area , These are not common in this hotel as I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions over the years

I don't normally submit reviews but this hotel and staff were excellent and worthy of being recognized. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and the room met all of the expectations. The staff and service would specifically be a reason that I would come back to visit Salzburg again.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel, the front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and the breakfast was perfect. Location was ideal for walking into town with ease and was close to the main Salzburg train station. Highly recommended!

The hotel, guest rooms, restaurant, and service were excellent. We loved our hotel room - junior suite XL for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. The walk to Old Town area was farther than I thought, but I found a bus stop just outside of the hotel through the OBB mobile app that was fast. You can walk to the train station for more eating options.

Very spacious, modern suite close to several restaurants, coffee shops and public transportation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the rooftop had a gorgeous view of the city medieval fortress and the mountains.

Very nice boutique hotel in Salzburg. Well appointed and clean, staff/service was great. The room was nice and comfortable. Only stayed one night, and for that night a solid 4-stars! The explanation future guests need regards the unloading and parking part. There is no place to unload your car in front of the hotel. There is a side street immediately to the left of the entrance as you're sailing around the 'round about. Turn right there and you'll find 3-5 spaces on the right shoulder of the road depending upon how busy it is. Unload there and the staff will bring out a cart. The parking garage is 5 mins away by car (all one way streets, a bit of a maze), 10 minutes at least on foot, and is not easy to find. Look for the Hotel Imlauer sign on the wall, it's only about 6" x 6", so keep your eyes peeled. Once you're there, it all makes sense! Just hang in there! We do recommend Hotel Imlauer in Salzburg! Enjoy!

Nice, clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are a bit small and parking is not on site but close, which makes it a bit inconvenient with luggage. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Would stay again.

Lovely stay in Salzburg. Family room was very large and comfortable and clean. Amazing roof bar / terrace with stunning views and breakfast had everything you would need. Would stay again.
