The front desk staff was super kind and friendly and it was an easy check in! It's in a great location an easy to get around with Lyft, buses, etc. Lots was open when I arrived late. I had to walk one block to get to Mel's Diner. The room was spotless, it's a bit older but it had everything you need and the floors were the cleanest floors I've ever seen in a motel. Will definitely be back. They offer free parking and WIFI as well.

I was tired when I checked in and immediately went to sleep, I was woken up by someone entering my room, even though I had used the deadbolt. It was another guest, because the front desk staff had mistakenly rented the same room twice. It also caused my key card to stop working. I went to the front desk, but the front desk staff was already walking towards my room. Not only are they incompetent, but the deadbolt lock does not stop someone with a key card. I sent the Motel Management a message on the Expedia App, but have heard nothing in three days now.

The motel was noisy. You can hear the people upstairs thumping around, the parking lot is an echo chamber for all the street and sidewalk and other visitors noise. The room was extremely basic and not a half-way modern touch in the room except maybe the TV. There is a refrigerator and coffee pot. Takes quite a while to get hot water in the sink. Wifi was not always working. They did have additional parking behind the hotel when the regular lot was full. You would be staying here simply for price, parking and proximity and there are slightly better options around.
