One of the greatest advantages of Bird Baldwin Forsyth Suite is its exceptional location. Situated on Liberty Street in the center of Savannah's Historic District, many of the city's most recognizable landmarks, museums, restaurants, and shops are just a short walk away. Start each morning with a fresh cup of coffee from Savannah Coffee Roasters next door before setting off to explore Savannah on foot. Forsyth Park is approximately ten minutes away on foot, offering beautiful gardens, the famous fountain, shaded walking paths, and the popular Saturday farmers market. Walk about ten minutes to Broughton Street to discover local boutiques, galleries, and shopping, or continue fifteen minutes to River Street, where historic cobblestone streets meet waterfront restaurants, entertainment, and scenic river views.
History lovers will appreciate being just five minutes from the Telfair Museum and only a short stroll from the Green-Meldrim House, the Sorrel-Weed House Museum, and many of Savannah's beautifully preserved historic landmarks. Nearby Pulaski Square provides one of the city's most picturesque settings for leisurely walks beneath towering live oaks draped with Spanish moss. Dining options surround the neighborhood. Enjoy Southern favorites at Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room, gather for dinner at The Public Kitchen, or experience one of Savannah's oldest restaurants at Crystal Beer Parlor. As evening arrives, enjoy handcrafted cocktails at Artillery Bar, rooftop views at Peregrin, or a lively atmosphere at McDonough's before returning to your peaceful retreat.
