Historic Boutique hotel in a great location

I quite enjoyed my stay. It's in a great location. Walking distance to most places if interest. Parking is in a parking garage across the hotel which was quite safe and affordable considering the location. Although you can find free parking spot between 8PM to 9AM in front or across the hotel if you're lucky and on a limited time.

We did not stay here. Got there checked in waited outside and had my husband bring our bags to the room when he went in he said the room smelled like mildew he asked to change rooms which the front desk (he was great btw) change the room that room also smelled funny so we went some where else. Still waiting on my refund because this was unacceptable….

The stay at the hotel was awful bugs dirty lien cleanliness was not great it was barley any hot water soda cans under the bed over all experience wasnt good and wasn't worth my 288.00 plus 100.00 deposit i want my money back but the outside atmosphere was great the downtown area had plenty to do and the best restaurants i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone not worth the money wvrything needs to be remodeled and updated

Older DNTN ST.P hotel

This is a old hotel in downtown area. One day its going to be gone, downtown changing and growing. Sad, but its progress. Basic older hotet...Mr. Morgan, night front desk gentleman, was cool, tell you how is it, but always welling to help. Let see, what the new owner/management do in the furture. Great location for ST.P GP Indy car race

It's an older property that needs a bit of TLC. The elevator was out of order when we stayed there. Some paint peeling off the walls in the room, sink drained slowly and shower leaked a bit. They definitely need to get new mattresses. Ours was sagging a bit. Still, a nice, quaint little hotel in downtown St. Pete's at a reasonable price.

Great Location, but Old & Tired!

During a major event weekend (Indycar race), the elevator in this 6 story building did not work. Our room was on the 5th floor so going up and down a narrow service staircase was an ordeal. Hotel is turn of the century in a great location. However not much has changed. It's slated for rehab this year so hopefully it will update the old fixtures, throw away the worn, sticky carpeting, along with new bedding, furniture, etc. At least clean the HVAC filters in the rooms! As a side, the 2 restaurants on the street do a nice job.

Location nice but zero amenities

Not only no designated parking, no solutions for parking for guests. No elevator working, no ice machine, no hot water for showers or baths, and no functioning elevator and was assigned 6th floor room.

Hotel is rundown and dirty. When I checked in I was told “before we go any further the elevator isnt working” They also told me “we keep $100 security deposit in case you break or steal anything” Who is their normal clientele? After I went to the room and saw the furniture I wanted to return to the front desk but didn’t want to walk up & down 4 flights of stairs again, to tell them there’s nicer stuff put out for garbage on the side of the road. Luckily it was a cool night as the AC only blew warm air. The bench seat in the room was stained abd reeked of musk & mold.
