Roomy updated 1950’s cottage in the perfect spot on the island!

With two living areas there is room for the book reader, the game player, or the TV viewer. We created a small home office area for those of you lucky enough to work from “home”!

We of course hope we share enough travel and dining tips you’re just there to sleep and relax before your next days outing! There is a nice kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, gas range and oven. A gas grill in the back patio helps for dining in options.

This 1950’s cottage take you back to a simpler time yet with all the comforts expected! Two FULL BATHROOMS make it comfortable for family and friends.

We’ve completed a full exterior renovation with new porches, Azec decking, roof and paint! There is seating on both the screened and open sides of the porch, as well as the backyard.

We keep our home sprayed quarterly for bugs and and we clean to the highest standards!

Once you book, I am always available via VRBO messaging or give me a call/text. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do!

Perfection!

What can I say… this sweet home was absolute perfection for our family! Stuart’s home was well equipped for not only the adults in our family, but she was considerate enough to have baby gear waiting for us for our son. She was prompt with replies to any questions we had, and gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do on the island. The house was impeccably clean, inside and out. We cannot wait to come back!

Great Neighborhood & Easy Access

We enjoyed our visit to St Simons and our stay in this home. We only used one bedroom, but there are three, and there is an extra "bonus room" where my husband worked remotely a couple of days. Right behind the Crap Trap, it's in a wonderful location for walking to bars and restaurants, and the neighborhood is great to walk as well. Very important to me is that one of my legs is in a boot. Myrtle Street is a block away, and that gives such easy access to the beach. You can even skip the boardwalk and walk right on! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Stuart, the owner, is very responsive and got back to us immediately with anything we needed, including questions ahead of time.

Wonderful Host and Home

The pictures really dont do this house justice. there is so much space and is so comfortable. Stuart was so easy to work with and she continuously checked in on us to make sure our stay was going well. She cares deeply about the guests experience in her home and I couldn't reccomend this place enough. The location is also amazing.

Great location great house

We stayed over spring break. The island was busier than we were used to but the house and the location were tremendous. The front porch is great for sitting with your family, listening to music and relaxing. The house has plenty of room for at least 6 people maybe more (it was just the four of us). The house is a short walk to the beach and a stones throw to some of our favorite restaurants. Stuart was easy to get ahold of but honestly we didn’t need her. Couldn’t ask for a better host, house or location for our family of four.

Delivered as promised

"Easy Walk to Beach" was a spacious cottage with a good location. Proximity to restaurants [Crab Shack/King and Prince] and short walk to the beach. Lot of goodies upon arrival and the things you need. Stuart was most helpful and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend it.

Great Thanksgiving Gathering

What a terrific property for a wonderful family and friends Thanksgiving. Perfect location and amazing attention to detail for guests’ comfort. Such an easy checkin and stay. So many thing supplied in the kitchen. Felt like home from the minute you walk in the door. Great beach memories made this past week. We will be back!

Perfect location

Overall excellent house, and great location. Will stay at this house again if we come back to this area for vacation. One thing I have to mention, is that they took the time to label all the light switches. Makes so easy to know what to turn on or off. These are just of the many things that make this place exceptional.

PERFECT!!!!

Ok - I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t leave a lot of reviews, good or bad. But this place was absolutely perfect for our family’s stay during the 4th. First off, the location is incredible. Around the corner from 2 of the best restaurants on the island with Crabdaddy’s and Crab Trap. The King and Prince is essentially 2 streets over, but it’s literally so close that you can walk in less than 5 minutes. We had several friends in town for the 4th with their kids (we have teens - 14 & 17), so we rented a golf cart and bikes so they could go and do as they wanted. On your way to the beach from the house, stop by the Beachcomber Bar and grab a pina colada. They also have fantastic burgers! Secondly, the house was absolutely the perfect size - it’s quaint, but not small. And it’s CLEAN. Has a decent size back yard but we spent our time at the beach mostly, but enjoyed a few hours on the screened in front porch for morning coffee. Also - the house had several things that came in handy - like refreezable ice packs (we used the heck out of those every day), a soft beach cooler, beach toys, beach chairs, and the list goes on…Stuart was incredible and I felt like we made a new friend with her constantly checking in to make sure things were going good. We look forward to booking here again soon!!!
