I stay in this area very often and have tried most decent hotels in this district. The Capitol is the most convenient to walk to everything in Haymarket. It's rooms are absolutely pristine, so you know there will be nothing decayed or needing renovation, which is so common in the inner city hotels. The staff are very attentive and most importantly, they remember me with a smile. I come home to The Capitol.

It’s our go to hotel when working in Sydney. A gorgeous boutique hotel with wonderful beds, well sized bathrooms and great staff. The location is great for as it’s on the light rail from Central, and light rail into Sydney cbd/ circular quay too.

Pleasant Hotel marred by noisy tram

Friendly and helpful reception. Hotel location was good. Close to Central Railway Station and Murray's Bus Terminal. Hotel was clean and cozy. Room was small with no wardrobe. Unfortuntely, the Light Rail along George Street passes close to the hotel and the constant vibration as the tram trundles through is annoying.
