The location is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The overall experience was very positive. The only suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the breakfast offering by including an omelette station, non-dairy milk options, a selection of cheeses, and cold cuts.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and condition of this hotel. It's a convenient location and is walking distance to many things downtown, but I would be cautious walking in that area after dark specifically. An excellent stay though and will likely stay again!

Great hotel in a central location.

It was great, really well located. Breakfast was good with easy access to the trams and buses. Mystic Muffin across the street has awesome cakes and breakfast. Only minor is the area near the hotel felt a little unsafe with some 'characters' about. It wouldnt usually bother me but we were travelling with children. A Toronto issue not the hotel. Parking is a little expensive at $35 a night. You need to check in first for access. The spaces are a little tight.

I always enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express, and this location was no exception—it lived up to my expectations in many ways. The room was clean, well-appointed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable and spacious. Though the room felt a bit on the small side, I think that was mostly due to the small window, which didn’t let in much natural light... However, the view was great! The bathroom, on the other hand, was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed. One standout feature was the elevator access directly to the parking garage—such a convenient touch that made coming and going a breeze. The staff truly made the stay even better. They were friendly, helpful, and their warm smiles genuinely brightened my day. The only reason I didn’t give this stay a full five stars was the breakfast. While there was a wide variety of options—muffins, cereals, yogurt, toast, fruit, omelets, bacon, biscuits and sausage, along with coffee and juices—the flavors were underwhelming. The pancake machine gave us trouble and didn’t work properly, and the orange juice tasted mostly like water. That said, I enjoyed the muffins, and my husband liked the bacon and biscuit (though he wasn’t a fan of the sausage). Overall, this Holiday Inn Express offered a comfortable, friendly experience, and I would definitely stay here again. I just hope they improve the breakfast quality a bit!
