Our room was very dusty and needed a good deep clean. Maid knocked on our door even though the “do not disturb” sign was on the door. I had to call for more water and Kleenex. They should have been restocked when they cleaned the room. And the $25 amenity fee was a surprise even though we did not use the spa, etc. For the cost; I’m sure there are better options in the same area.

The staff in the hotel from the concierge to from desk staff, cleaning staff and restaurant made us welcome feeling at home and taking care of. One of the best experiences in am hotel since a long time. The difference was the peoples. I would go back anytime.

The hotel was the perfect spot for what we wanted to do in Toronto. It was located very near the ball park, the CN Tower, The aquarium, the Hockey Hall of Fame. Easy to find places to eat. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had a great experience overall

Check-in was easy by friendly staff. Hotel lobby is impressive and very clean, and the location of the hotel is very central for sightseeing around Toronto. Our room on the seventh floor was spacious, with two comfortable queen beds, with a view overlooking a junction outside the hotel. The bathroom was also spacious with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. The one thing we didn’t enjoy was the noise from the three elevators, which backed onto our room. The noise was really intrusive and disturbed our sleep. I usually request a room on a high floor, well away from any elevators, but on this occasion I didn’t think it was necessary, with it being a large, luxurious hotel. As we were only staying for two nights, we decided to tolerate the noise. Just something to bear in mind if you are thinking of staying here. We enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental, but probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again, because of the elevator noise issue, as it really impacted our enjoyment of the hotel.

Thw location here is perfect for walking around the city. If you want to be by the CN Tower or the stadium you can not beat it. Staff was friendly a very helpful. Would stay again!

The staff were lovely. The carpet in our room had big stains. No queen beds. Only 2 doubles. Never saw double beds in a hotel that price before. The cable was not working (not the hotel's fault though), we couldn't even order a pay per view, as our tv remote wasn't working. We were given another remote, but the tv kept freezing.
